Thank you Justin Timberlake

Without you I don't think I could have ran that last quarter mile! I have been working on my fitness and trying to shed a few pounds, so I really depend on my ipod to keep me motivated. Today my intention was to only run an easy 2 miles, but I was feeling pretty good at the 15 minute mile pace and I knew that there would be no time for running with the PR weekend starting tomorrow, so I pushed for 3 miles. I must admit I was pretty tired when I rounded 2.75, but then Justin brought it home with FutureSex Love Sounds and I could see my way through to the end. I walked before and after to warm up/cool down respectively, so I logged 3.75 miles total. This is my first week and it appears that I have lost some weight, but I am not going to get too jazzed until I get a little further in. Weight loss and fitness is a daily goal and it takes vigilance not to backslide. I feel good for today! Now on to PR weekend! Bring it on!!!

You are doing fantastic! Running is a great way to tone down. Keep posting on your progress. I need it! I need to get off my chair and do the same. I have no excuses. You are a great enabler. :)

That's ambitious! Wow! You don't look like you need to lose any weight, but only you know for sure. I walk--can't run, but walk with Bruce Springsteen. We've been together a long time now!

That is great! Justin has helped me many a time while running and has brought me back to the starting point. LOL. That's great you are working on your fitness. It really does make a difference!
