Oh girl, I totally relate to what you're saying. I'm 61, and it is challenging to be somewhat stylish without seeming that I'm trying to look 30. Now, I live vicariously through younger sewists who can wear very hip clothes. I sigh and "remember when"!
I like this style on you. :)
"Mariah Scarey", haha. It looks just great as a top! Wonderful color on you. I hear ya about picking styles appropriate to ones age. I turn 50 in Aug and find myself with the same challenges of being drawn to too youthful designs.
Pretty! I love the color. :)
A beautiful color! It looks good on you. I do love the Mariah Scarey comment. I am 58 and so confused by what is right for me to wear and what styles are avilable and will they work for me. I have been trying some different styles, some work and some don't. Isn't it great that we can sew and try so many.
Great top and smart choice - you look great! I've been eyeing this one, but not sure yet because of the long sleeves. Maybe for fall.
Great top, Mary! Now here's a thought for you...Mariah will be wearing your top AS A DRESS when she's 50 ;) . I mean, her dresses are so short that they're really tops, aren't they???
