Sharon for nominating me for the Sisterhood award. When I first started blogging I saw all these awards on other people's blogs and kind of felt like the fat girl in Jr. High (trust me, I know what that felt like!!!) I have been blogging for over a year now and I feel like I have made some good friends who enjoy creating as much as I do. That is a wonderful thing about the net...even when you hear about internet scams and other negative things, the internet is a wealth of information at our fingertips and I would never have met such wonderful people had I not started blogging. So here are the rules:
1. Put the logo on your blog or post
2. Nominate at least 10 blogs which show great Attitude and/or Gratitude!
3. Be sure to link to your nominees within your post.
4. Let them know that they have received this award by commenting on their blog.
5. Share the love and link to the person from whom you received your award.
I would like to nominate, in no particular order:
Christina I love her style and innovation...she takes a designer look and makes it her own.
Amy She is a fireman's wife too and very creative
Kat Kat is a natural teacher and shares her knowledge through her blog (and she is a snappy dresser!)
Linda Linda is elegance personified. I look forward to seeing the classy things she makes.
Sherril makes fabulous things and is very helpful with what she learns about fitting.
Sara because she is my girl and I am so proud of the woman she has become (and that she is now my partner in crime fabric shopping!)
Amy because she always gives me good feedback and I admire her.
Rachel The girl loves shoes and sewing...need I say more???
Julia because she is very nice and I appreciate her friendship.
And last, but certainly not least, Stacy because her blog was the first one I found when I started looking at sewing blogs and I always am inspired by what she is working on (and she has darling children too!)
This truly is a short list of all the blogs I enjoy. I'd love to bestow the award on all of them (even you Jeff, though technically you wouldn't be a sister, but who cares about that little detail!) I am so very grateful to you all who take the time to share your life and passions with me. Thank you.

Thanks, Mary, I'm flattered!
Thanks Mary. I like this Sisterhood Award and appreciate your thinking of me. I will need to work on my list now.
Thank you so much!!!!
Thank you so much, Mary! And feeling the like the "fat girl in high school" with all the other awards going around??? You know, there IS something special about anonymity. Or maybe I should rephrase that to lesser known. I like a family feeling that goes with being small. Although there are several "big name" blogs that I really like, I find some real gems in out of the mainstream type of blogs. Usually I find those when someone posts a comment on my blog. You know, there's something special about being small :) .
