Jalie Love

I promised to post some pics of the Jalie scarf collar tops that I have been cranking out.  Since I don't intend to get out of my PJs today, they are modeled by my altar ego Valentine. First the muslin:
The gumdrop top that I whipped out Tuesday morning before work:

And not a Jalie, but another top that's almost finished save for buttons and hem:
Now it's back to the workroom and more "Dirty Harry" until the Project Runway finale!

Lovely tops! I really should try the Jalie patterns - they look so nice. Thanks for prodding me in the right direction.

I love your tops. That last one is so pretty. What is the pattern?

Wow you have been productive! I love all three tops. I can't believe tonight is the final episode of PR. If Gretchen wins I may never watch again! Well, that's probably not true, but I sure hope Mondo wins!

Love your prints! I made a version of the last top for my Turkey trip, I'll have to photograph it eventually...

The Jalie Scarf top has become a TNT right out of the package! I am busy trying to figure out if I can use the burrito collar technique to do a bit different neck...stay tuned! Rachel-the light blue swiss dot top is Simplicity 2601. Love the Jalie sweetheart top too...about ready for some more of those...that one is easily varied too...made a few with a ruched yoke instead of the gathers in the front. The possibilities abound!!!
